MYCOAT® 779 resin

MYCOAT® 779 resin by allnex is an effective crosslinker for backbone polymer resins containing hydroxyl, carboxyl, and amide functional groups, such as those found on alkyd, polyester or acrylic resins. This methoxy methyl melamine formaldehyde resin possesses high imino group & high monomeric content, which does not require strong acid catalyst for fast cure response. It displays better flexibility, medium to high solids and lower formaldehyde release. Recommended for general industrial-, automotive- and coil & container coatings. It is also used in the preparation of a wide range of general industrial finishes. The shelf life of MYCOAT® 779 resin is 540 days.
