MYCOAT® 715 resin

MYCOAT® 715 resin by allnex is a very reactive, methylated high imino melamine-based crosslinker supplied in 1-butanol. It has a tendency towards self-condensation at normal baking temperatures, providing films with very good hardness, gloss, chemical resistance and outdoor durability. It possesses lower VOCs in high solids formulations. MYCOAT® 715 resin offers fast law temperature cure response and low formaldehyde release. It shows very good compatibility with acrylic-, alkyd-, epoxy- and polyester resins. This additive is effective for backbone polymer resins containing hydroxyl, carboxyl, and amide functional groups. It is suitable for water-borne & automotive coatings and coil coatings & metal decorating. The shelf life of this product is 540 days.
