Patinal® Titanium Oxide S

Patinal® Titanium Oxide S by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is an evaporation material. It is a Ti-suboxide used to manufacture thin films of TiO₂. It shows less outgassing during preparation of the melt due to the favorable oxygen-to-titanium ratio of 1.7.

• It has a shorter preparation time to achieve stable process conditions before the start of the evaporation process, and less risk of spattering.
• Patinal® Titanium Oxide S is used in optical- & functional coatings, and in AR and multilayer coatings on glass & plastic substrates.
