Patinal® Substance M2

Patinal® Substance M2 by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is a medium refractive index evaporation material. Its refractive index fills a gap not available from non-mixture materials. It provides additional freedom for the design of high-performance optical multilayers on a variety of substrate materials.

• Patinal® Substance M2 is used in anti-reflective (AR) coatings for ultra-violet (UV), visible (VIS) and near-infrared (NIR) on glass and polymers.
• It is recommended for multilayer coatings for filters, mirrors, beam splitters, and polarizers.
