Patinal® Substance M3

Patinal® Substance M3 by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is a medium refractive index evaporation material covering a wide spectral range from UV to IR. It provides additional freedom for the design of high-performance optical multilayers on a variety of substrate materials. Its refractive index fills a gap not available from non-mixture materials.

• It is recommended for multilayer coatings for filters, mirrors, and beam splitters.
• Patinal® Substance M3 is used in anti-reflective (AR) coatings for ultra-violet (UV), visible (VIS) and near-infrared (NIR) on glass and polymers.
