TEGO® Phobe 1401 by Evonik acts as a solvent-free hydrophobing agent. Designed for water-borne formulations in silicate emulsion paints and plasters. Used in printing inks, masonry coatings, industrial coatings, wood, architectural and parquet coatings. Exhibits very good resistance to driving rain and water-beading effect. TEGO® Phobe 1401 is recommended at a dosage rate of 1-8%. It has a shelf life of 12 months at 4-40°C.
