TEGO® Dispers 686 by Evonik is a high molecular weight polymer. Acts as a dispersing and wetting agent. It is settlement and flaking resistant hence enables an excellent re-dispersibility for dry bits in matting paste. Offers added benefit of higher reliability in matting and ease of manufacturing without the risk of over-grinding. Suitable for most typical coating systems ranging from water borne emulsions to alkyd paints. Recommended dosage as matting agent is 10-20%. TEGO® Dispers 686 has a shelf life of 24 months.
