TEGO® Glide 490

Tego® Glide 490 by Evonik is an emulsion of a high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane. It acts as a slip and anti-blocking agent. It offers outstanding slip and anti-blocking properties in waterborne formulations. It is free of tin and aromatic solvents. It may not be diluted with organic solvents. It shows clarity in varnishes and can be diluted in water. It is suitable for use in inks, clear coat, pigmented and lacquer topcoat applications. Tego® Glide 490 recommended dosage rate is 0.1-1.0%. It is listed on AICS, DSL, ECL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, TSCA, NZIOC and TCSI chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of at least 12 months.
