TEGO® Glide 496

Tego® Glide 496 by Evonik is a polyether siloxane copolymer. It provides outstanding slip and touch properties without compromising recoatability and compatibility. It offers anti-blocking, excellent leveling, anti-crater properties, and promotes flow. It is a highly effective grade with low foam. It contributes to perfect surfaces and high-quality appearance of coatings. Tego® Glide 496 is suitable for solvent- & waterborne formulations, pigmented- & clear coatings, and 100% two-pack systems. It is partially suitable for radiation curing. Typical applications include printing inks, and general industrial-, wood- & transportation coatings. It improves scratch-resistance in various systems. It complies with various food contact regulations. Recommended addition level is 0.1 - 1.0%. The shelf life of this product is at least 24 months.
