Finntalc M30LV

Finntalc M30LV by Elementis is a functional extender-based on hydrated magnesium silicate. It is purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells, resulting in a precise definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical.

• It is a pure, lamellar, coarse particle size talc, exhibiting stable color, very hydrophobicity, inertness, and softness with reduced oil absorption.
• In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, this ensures exact reproducibility in formulations.
• It offers good barrier properties, good corrosion resistance, outdoor durability and good sandability with reduced VOC emissions.
• It is used in general purpose industrial coatings, paints and inks.
• Recommended usage level is 20-40% for paints and coatings.
