Finntalc M15LV by Elementis is a functional extender-based on hydrated magnesium silicate. It is a pure, lamellar, medium particle size talc, exhibiting stable color, high hydrophobicity, inertness, and softness.

It is purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells, resulting in a precise definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical.
In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, this ensures exact reproducibility in formulations.
It provides good barrier properties, good corrosion resistance, outdoor durability, good sandability with low viscosity impact.
It is used in general purpose high solids, low VOC architectural & industrial coatings, paints and inks.
Recommended usage level is 10-30% depending upon the application and the desired properties.
Finntalc M15LV has a shelf life of 5 years.
