Finntalc M65

Finntalc M65 by Elementis is a functional extender-based on hydrated magnesium silicate. It is a pure, lamellar, coarse particle size talc, exhibiting stable color, high hydrophobicity, inertness, and softness with controlled top-cut. It is characterized by low viscosity impact and reduced oil absorption.

• It is purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells, resulting in a precise definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical.
• In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, this ensures exact reproducibility in formulations.
• It exhibits good barrier & good anti-corrosion properties at low VOC levels, good adhesion and sandability.
• It is used in high solids & high PVC protective coatings, paints and inks.
• Recommended usage level is 15-40% for paints and coatings.
• Finntalc M65 has a shelf life of 5 years.
