Finntalc M30E by Elementis is a functional extender-based on hydrated magnesium silicate. It is a pure, lamellar, coarse particle size talc, exhibiting stable color, very hydrophobic, inertness, and softness.

It is purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells, resulting in a precise definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical.
In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, this ensures exact reproducibility in formulations.
It provides good barrier properties, good anti-corrosion properties, good reinforcement of paint film, good adhesion and sandability with matting of high PVC paint.
It is used in architectural & general purpose industrial coatings and inks.
Recommended usage level is 10-30% depending upon the application and the desired properties.
Finntalc M30E has a shelf life of 5 years.
