Finntalc M15 ULM

Finntalc M15 ULM by Elementis is hydrated magnesium silicate-based functional extender. It is a pure, lamellar, medium particle size talc, exhibiting stable color, high hydrophobicity, inertness, and softness. It is purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells, resulting in a precise definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical.

• In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, this ensures exact reproducibility in formulations.
• It is heat-treated to ensure ultra-low microbiological contamination.
• It exhibits good barrier properties, excellent wet scrub resistance, balanced optical properties, good outdoor durability, good anti-corrosion properties, good sandability and adhesion.
• It is used in inks, paints & coatings such as architectural coatings with zero or low biocide content (high hygienic coatings).
• It enables use of lowered biocide content.
• Recommended usage level is 5-30% depending upon the application.
