Bentone® P270 CO

Bentone® P270 CO by Elementis acts as a rheological additive for paints and coatings. It is a pre-activated hectorite based organoclay in castor oil. It is easier to use in production and gives higher efficiency than powdered organoclays, ensuring more consistent finished products. It provides viscosity consistency with no dust and ready to use.

• It is possibly to use in post addition.
• It contributes to process optimization, reducing production time and easily dispersible formulas.
• It is easier to adjust rheology.
• It is used in aerosol paints, anti-corrosive paints, automotive finishes, primers, industrial paints, interior & exterior architectural paints, refinish systems and wood stains.
• Recommended dosage level is 2-6% for architectural and industrial paints.
