Bentone® 30

Bentone® 30 by Elementis is a rheological additive designed for low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It is an organic derivative of a bentonite clay. It increases viscosity, prevents pigment settling during storage and also prevents syneresis in thixotropic systems.

• It improves flow and leveling and controls sagging on vertical surfaces and penetration on porous substrates.
• It is used in anti-corrosive paints, industrial finishes, interior & exterior house paints including, do-it-yourself paints, primers, undercoats, fillers, road marking paints and finishing systems.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-1%.
• Bentone® 30 has a shelf life of 4 years.
