Wanhua’s portfolio of polyurethane and acrylic resins are available globally
Wanhua coating resins tradenames include: Lacper®, Antkote®, Aquolin®, Wantipro®, Leasys®, Vesmody®, and Archsol®. These tradenames are used for both acrylic and urethane systems as noted below.
Acrylic emulsions (Lacper®, Archsol®)
Waterborne (co)polymeric acrylic emulsions from Wanhua Chemical can be utilized in architectural, wood, and concrete coating formulations. Self-crosslinking, bio-based, and formaldehyde capturing among other modifications can meet various application and performance requirements.
Styrene Acrylics emulsions (Lacper®, Archsol®, Wantipro®)
Waterborne styrene acrylic copolymeric emulsions are used in the formulation of coatings for metal & plastic substrates as well as for interior wall paints. These emulsions deliver very good adhesion on various substrates such as PC, ABS, PS, metals and aged coatings. They also provide excellent water and corrosion resistance and good hardness for coating durability.
OH-functional Acrylic dispersion and emulsions (Lacper®, Antkote®, Wantipro®, Archsol®)
Waterborne hydroxyl functional acrylic dispersion and emulsions are used in the formulation of protective industrial coatings for wood, metal, and flooring. A variety of OH-percentages can accommodate curing speed, hardness, chemical resistance, appearance/ gloss levels but also anti-graffiti properties. OH-percentages can rank from 0.5-5% (on solid).
Polyurethane dispersions (Lacper®, Leasys®, Archsol®)
Waterborne polyurethane dispersions (PUD) are used in the formulation of coatings for plastic, wood, flooring, textile and leather as well as inks. They are known for their flexibility, chemical resistance, anti-blocking and haptic properties (soft-Feel). PUD are available with polyester, polyether and polycarbonate backbones.
Modified Polyurethane dispersions (Lacper®, Crysol®, Urosin®, Wantipro®)
Modified waterborne polyurethane dispersions or hybrids have been developed by Wanhua Chemical to achieve special properties on top of the regular PUD properties which can include such as chemical resistance and faster curing speed, ad wood-warming.
