Coatings ingredients supplied by AGC

LUMIFLON® is a series of fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) resins (thermoset) used to develop paints and coatings with high weatherability and corrosion resistance. Physical properties of the LUMIFLON® resins can be modified by changes in the nature of the vinyl ether units. Ultra-weatherability, durability, and chemical resistance are derived from the alternating fluorinated units.

LUMIFLON® resins are usually reacted with aliphatic isocyanates to form crosslinked fluorourethane coatings suitable for use on industrial and architectural structures as well as in the aircraft and automobiles applications.
