LUMIFLON® FE4500

LUMIFLON® FE4500 by AGC is a FEVE (Fluoroethylene-alkyl vinylether) alternative copolymer. It is a milky-white liquid emulsion with low hydroxyl (OH) functionality. Exhibits hardness, flexibility, water resistance, excellent weatherability, chemical resistance and outstanding UV (ultraviolet) stability. Protects steel and concrete from sunshine, wind, rain and corrosion. LUMIFLON® FE4500 enables formulators to meet VOC (volatile organic compound) and HAPS (hazardous air pollutants) regulations on many solvents in the U. S. Enables reduction in the total maintenance cost such as repainting or cleaning. Shows solvent compatibility and cross-linking sites. Suitable for coatings with high gloss and excellent weatherability. Used for field applied architectural, concrete, and direct-to-metal coatings.
