Coatings ingredients supplied by Celanese
GUR® UHMW-PE products are ultra-high performance polyethylene powder encompassing both ultra-high and very high molecular weight polyethylene grades. They are used as functional additives in paints and coatings.
GUR® micropowders increase scratch/abrasion/cut resistance of matrix, sliding behavior as well as give unique surface texturing, e. g. anti-slip properties, anti-stick properties, matting effect. They have good chemical compatibility, good biocompatibility and contain no fluorine content. GUR® micropowders are used in protective coatings and decorative paints.
