GUR® UHMW-PE (60 µm)

GUR® UHMW-PE (60 μm) by Celanese is a polyethylene micropowder. Acts as a matting- and texturing agent. Exhibits a rubber-elastic behavior in molten state because of very high viscosity. Maintains particle shape and unique morphology. Allows excellent dispersion and helps phase binding with other materials. Offers improved finishing texture, wear resistance, gloss reduction, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, surface effects, impact strength, abrasion resistance, energy absorption at high speed impact and mechanical & dimensional thermostability. Shows reduced water and moisture absorption. Possesses very good resistance to aggressive media except strong oxidizing acids. Dosage varies from 3% to 10% (-265 °C to 90 °C) by weight.
