SiliXan® M 400

SiliXan® M 400 by SiliXan is a silica/ titanium dioxide grade modified with methacrylate. Exhibits easy-to-clean properties, good anti-staining properties, improved adhesion on metal, excellent abrasion- and chemical resistance. It is diluted with polar solvents like alcohols, esters, ether esters or ketones. It is insoluble in water, xylene, toluene and benzene. It is preferably used for thermal or peroxide and UV-curing lacquers. SiliXan® M 400 is used as an unsaturated binder for scratch-resistant coatings or high-solid coatings, light protection as over-print varnishes, and as an additive for commercial acrylate- or methacrylate based inks. Complies with EINECS, TSCA (USA), ECL (Korea) and REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The shelf life of the product is 6 months.
