SiliXan® Cat 100

SiliXan® Cat 100 by SiliXan is an aluminium grade, diluted in 2-butanol. Acts as a curing and drying catalyst for urethanes with silicone alkoxy groups. Provides increased abrasion- and chemical resistance, and adhesion by improved crosslinking and drying speed. It can be thinned with water, alcohols, esters, ether esters, ketones, xylene and toluene. SiliXan® Cat 100 shows compatibility with free or blocked isocyanates, and epoxy or methacrylate modified systems based on silica/ siloxane. Used for water or solvent-based coatings with SiliXan® binders. Complies with EINECS, TSCA (USA), ECL (Korea), ENCS (Japan) and REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The shelf life of the product is 6 months.
