Carboset® CR-717

Carboset® CR-717 by Lubrizol is a non-yellowing, water white hydroxy-functional acrylic copolymer emulsion. It is designed to be cross-linked for optimal performance in lacquer topcoats and sealers on wood. It offers excellent hardness, clarity and appearance as well as water-, chemical- & stain resistance. It can be catalyzed for faster development of hardness and print resistance. It can be used together with Bayhydur XP-7063 which is a water dispersible aliphatic polyisocyanate that crosslinks with the hydroxy-functionality of the Carboset® CR-717. It provides good pot life, low microfoam, rapid cure and outstanding cured-coating performance. It is recommended for use in institutional furniture finishes, kitchen cabinet finishes (passes KCMA), office product finishes, sanding sealers and high-gloss or satin finishes.
