Carboset® RPT-2000

Carboset® RPT-2000 by Lubrizol is an APEO- and formaldehyde-free, acrylic copolymer emulsion. It is suitable for primer & topcoat for concrete, asphaltic felts, BUR and single ply membranes. It offers good adhesion, bitumen bleed through resistance, efflorescence & alkali resistance. Carboset® RPT-2000 provides good dirt pick-up resistance and excellent water resistance. It can be used in original and refurbished roofing installations. It shows good balance of tensile strength & elongation for tough durable coatings. It exhibits protection against freezing. It can be formulated at less than 50 g/l (US) and 1 g/l (EU) VOC.
