SONGSORB® CS 328

SONGSORB® CS 328 by Songwon is a 2-(2'-hydroxy-3',5'-di-t-amylphenyl)benzotriazole. Acts as a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 2900-400nm region. Has a high degree of photostability - photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. Features strong UV absorption, low initial color, good solubility and moderately low volatility. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performancein outdoor application protecting against gloss reduction, cracking, color change and blistering. SONGSORB® CS 328 is mainly recommended for use in ambient and low temperature cured system. It is suitable for use in applications like automotive coatings, industrial coatings and wood stains or do-it-yourself paints. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIOC, ECL, EINECS, TSCA and PICCS inventories.
