SONGSORB® CS 326 by Songwon is a 2-(2'-hydroxy-3'-t-butyl-5'-methylphenyl)-5-chlorobenzotriazole. Is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400nm region. Has a high degree of photostability - photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. Is less affected by alkalinity, less likely to discolor with metals and has less effect on metal driers as well as metal catalysts. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants as well as HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. Its recommending dosage rate is 0.1-0.5% in PP, PE and 0.2-0.3% in normal polyester resins. SONGSORB® CS 326 is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIOC, ECL, EINECS, TSCA and PICCS inventories.
