SONGSORB® CS 312

SONGSORB® CS 312 by Songwon is a N-(2-ethoxyphenyl)-N'-(2-ethylphenyl) ethanediamide. It is a highly effective UV absorber of the oxanilide family. It features strong UV absorption at low wavelengths imparting light stability. Shows low volatility and excellent compatibility with polar substrates. It is less discoloring than conventional UV absorbers, even in alkaline environments and in presence of metal catalyst residues. Can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS and optical brighteners without interference to optimize performance especially during outdoor weathering. Used in a broad range of coating applications (powder coating and solvent-borne coatings for automotive, industrial and architectural applications). SONGSORB® CS 312 is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, ECL, EINECS, TSCA and PICCS inventories.
