Silsurf® A004 by Siltech is a low foaming silicone surfactant with excellent wetting and spreading capabilities. It is a very low molecular weight ethoxylated polydimethylsiloxane having PEG-4 Dimethicone as INCI name. It reduces the surface tension of water to 20.0-21.0 dyne/cm when used at a dosage level of 0.1 %. It is applicable for inks and coatings. It has a shelf life of 36 months at 10-40°C. Silsurf® A004 is listed with TSCA, DSL, AICS, IECSC, ENCS, KECI, TCSI, NZIoC and PICCS inventories.
