Silsurf® Q20308 by Siltech acts as a wetting agent and water-based defoamer. It is an ultra-highly branched silicone polyether MQ resin used in coatings. It reduces the surface tension of water and oils in which it is dissolved. Its hindered ultra-high branched silicone backbone makes it more stable to hydrolysis. It is miscible with most hydrocarbon oils and marginally miscible with water. Silsurf® Q20308 has a shelf life of 24 months at 10-40°C. It is recommended at a dosage level of 1%.
