SiliXan® S 620- 40/ W

SiliXan® S 620- 40/ W by SiliXan is a aromatic-free, blocked isocyanate diluted in water. Acts as an active anticorrosive agent. It can be thinned with ethanol, isopropanol, butyl gycol, 1-methoxy-2-propanol and dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether. It is miscible with water-compatible resins and binders based on polyols, blocked isocyanates, epoxy or melamine types. It is cured thermally at temperatures between 120 and 250°C for 15 to 60 minutes. SiliXan® S 620- 40/ W is used as an aqueous binder for the formulation of coatings with zinc pigments, which can be easily overcoated with wet or powder coats. Complies with TSCA (USA), ECL (Korea), ENCS (Japan), DSL (Canada) and REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The shelf life of the product is 3 months.
