MicroKlear 418AL by Micro Powders acts as a surface modifier based on aluminum oxide nanoparticles (300 nm) modified natural carnauba wax. It provides surface slip, lubricity and maximum scratch resistance without affecting the clarity or gloss. It is easy-to-disperse nanotechnology in a safe, non-nano powder.

It is less abrasive on processing equipment compared to free aluminum oxide and is effective replacement for PTFE additives.
It is designed for water-based, solvent-based and energy curable coatings and inks.
MicroKlear 418AL is used in industrial (plastic, metal, leather), wood-, coil-, seed-, interior & exterior can and container coatings as well as printing inks and OPV's (flexo and gravure).
Recommended dosage level is 1.0-3.0% on total formula weight.
