MicroKlear 116AL by Micro Powders is a micronized composite of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and carnauba wax reinforced with 300 nm aluminum oxide nanoparticles. It offers maximum scratch resistance with excellent clarity and gloss retention. It provides excellent slip and food release properties in metal packaging coatings.

It exhibits reduced surface haze post-bake & water quench in coil coatings and maximum slip for forming & fabrication of finished coil.
It is designed for water-based, solvent-based & energy curable coatings and inks.
It is used in industrial coatings (including plastic, leather), wood-, seed-, interior & exterior can and container coatings as well as printing inks and OPVs (including flexo and gravure).
Recommended dosage level of MicroKlear 116AL is 1.0-3.0%.
