MicroKlear 116 by Micro Powders is a micronized blend of polyethylene and carnauba wax. Offers an excellent combination of slip-, abrasion- and scratch resistance. Provides food release properties in metal packaging coatings. In coil coatings offers reduced surface haze post-bake, water quench and maximum slip for forming and fabrication in finished coil coatings. It is suitable for applications where excellent gloss and clarity are required. Designed for water, solvent and energy curable coatings and inks. Finds applications in industrial (including plastic and leather), wood, seed, interior and exterior can and container coatings as well as printing inks and OPVs (including flexo and gravure). MicroKlear 116 has a recommended dosage level of 1.0-3.0%.
