Masil® SFR 70 by DyStar is a low-viscosity reactive silicone fluid used as a base polymer for water repellents. It is a clear, water-white, tasteless and odorless polydimethylsiloxane with terminal hydroxyl sites.
  • It can be used as a plasticizer for silicone elastomers.
  • It is also used as a component in synthesizing textile silicone softeners and as a hydrophobizing agent in treating silica.
  • Masil® SFR 70 is recommended for paper- and leather coatings.
