Foam Blast® 384E

Foam Blast® 384E by DyStar is an effective, water-dispersible, non-ionic defoamer. It is composed of highly refined mineral oil, silica derivatives and organic particles. It is self-emulsifiable, making it easy to incorporate into most paint media through the pigment mixture and grind phase. It is highly compatible in standard latex paint formulations and will not cause film craters or fisheyes.

• It is suitable for architectural- & industrial coatings as well as acrylic- & latex emulsions.
• It is designed for use in overprint varnishes and water-based flexo & gravure inks.
• Foam Blast® 384E meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 176.210 & 178.3120 for food contact applications.
• The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% based on weight.
