FOAM BLAST® 331E by DyStar is an effective water-dispersible non-ionic defoamer. It is composed of highly refined mineral oil and silica derivatives. It is highly compatible in standard latex paint formulations and will not cause film craters or fisheyes. It also acts as an aeration aid for many liquid polymers used in industrial and graphic arts markets. It is recommended for architectural- and industrial coatings. It is suitable for acrylic & latex emulsions. FOAM BLAST® 331E meets requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210 & 178.3120 for food contact applications. The dosage level of the grade for latex paints is 2 to 5 pounds and 0.1 to 0.5% for coatings.
