Foam Blast® 4011

Foam Blast® 4011 by DyStar is an industrial foam control agent. It is a broad purpose, water-dispersible formulation of highly refined mineral oil, silica derivatives and mineral particles. It can also be used in the monomer stripping process to control foam. It is suitable for acrylic- & latex emulsions, architectural paints, waterborne industrial coatings, overprint varnishes and water-based flexo & gravure inks.
  • It does not cause film craters or fisheyes when added.
  • It is generally added in both the grind and the let-down phase in paint manufacturing.
  • The recommended addition level is 2-5 pounds per 100 gallons of paint and 0.1-0.4% in graphic arts application.
  • Foam Blast® 4011 is composed of ingredients that meet the current requirements of the FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176,170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210, 177.1200, and 178.3120 for use in food contact applications.
