FOAM BLAST® 338

FOAM BLAST® 338 by DyStar is a hydrophobic, cost effective, synthetic polyol. It is a non-silicone, non-mineral oil, 100% active defoamer. It is recommended for waterborne polymer systems in inks and industrial coatings. It eliminates swelling of polymer print plates. It is recommended for water-based flexo & gravure inks. It is suitable for PVAc emulsions and polyvinyl alcohol solutions. It meets the current requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210 for use in food contact applications. The dosage level of FOAM BLAST® 338 is 0.01 to 0.5% for inks and coatings and 0.3 to 2.0 % for PVAc and PVOH.
