Deuteron® SR 28

Organic high-molecular polymer compound (based on xantha-galactomannan). Acts as thickening and thixotropic agent. The extreme high thixotropy avoids a breakdown of the solution already at a small dosage. Shows a good compatibility with acidic as well as alkaline compounds. By changing the pH-value the viscosity is not influenced as much as the strength of the gel is. Solutions of DEUTERON SR 28 tolerate high quantities of water-miscible solvents such as alcohols and glycols. Used in all aqueous systems, such as dispersion paints (emulsion paints), emulsion plasters, aqueous insulating primers, glues, slurries, water soluble lacquers and printing inks. Dosage: Amounts of 0,1 - 1,0 % are recommended.
