Emulsogen® EPA 1954

Emulsogen® EPA 1954 by Clariant is an APEO-free, low VOC (less than 1%) sodium salt of C12/C14-alkyl sulphate (sodium lauryl sulphate). Acts as an emulsifier. It is available as yellowish wax or clear, colorless to yellowish liquid. It is readily biodegradable, soluble in water and compatible with styrene butadiene, vinyl acetate and E-PVC. Emulsogen® EPA 1954 is suitable for emulsion polymerization to produce polymer dispersions with controlled particle size and low coagulation during the polymerization process. It is listed in AICS, DSL, ENCS, EINECS, IECSC, NECI, KECI, NZloC, PICCS and TSCA.
