Emulsogen® EPN 217

Emulsogen® EPN 217 by Clariant is a preservative-free, low-VOC, APEO-free, non-ionic emulsifier. It improves the dispersion properties such as freeze-thaw stability, electrolyte and sheer stability. It reduces the grit level during polymerization and maintains low viscosity of polymer emulsion at different shear rates. This FDA approved grade is used in emulsion polymerization of olefinic monomers like acrylates, styrene-acrylates, styrene-butadiene and vinyl acetate. The shelf life of Emulsogen® EPN 217 is 730 days.
