Dispersogen® LKS

Dispersogen® LKS by Clariant is an anionic, low VOC, fatty alcohol polyethylene glycol phosphoric acid ester. Acts as a universal dispersing agent. It is free of solvents, alkylphenol ethoxylates and nonylphenol (APEO/NPEO). Compatible with water-based acrylic binder, polyurethanes (PU) & epoxy resins and solvent-based alkyd resins. Exhibits high pigment concentration and low viscosity. It is soluble in water (at 25°C) and insoluble in white spirit. Dispersible in ethanol, 1-butanol, butyl glycol, dibasic ester, methoxypropyl acetate (MPA), butyl acetate and xylene. Suitable for water- & solvent-based paints and coatings, water-based and resin-free pigment preparations. Can also be used in solvent- and resin-based pigment preparations. Complies with REACH (Europe), ENCS (Japan), IECSC (China), KECI (Korea), NECI (Taiwan) and TSCA (USA) regulations. Conforms to German Blue Angel (RAL UZ 102:2015) for lacquers & indoor paints, Scandinavian Nordic Swan (version 3.0, 2015) and European Ecoflower (2014/312/EC). Recommended dosage on inorganic pigments is between 4-15%, between 5-25% on organic pigments, 10-25% on carbon black and 5-15% on titanium dioxide. Shelf life of Dispersogen® LKS is 2 years.
