Dispersogen® FA

Dispersogen® FA by Clariant is a non-ionic, APEO-free, low VOC (less than 1%) surfactant compound. Acts as a wetting agent, dispersing agent and emulsifier. It improves wetting of pigments & fillers and compatibility with tinting systems. It is a clear, colorless, viscous liquid and is soluble in water. Designed for use in combination with anionic dispersing agents. Suitable for water in oil (W/O) and oil in water (O/W) emulsions. Used in architectural low emulsion wall paints and in-plant tinters. Dispersogen® FA is recommended for water-borne and solvent-borne inorganic pigment preparations and point-of-sales colorants (dosage - 4% to 8%). Dosage ranges between 0.2% and 1% in the paint formulation. It is listed in REACH, DSL, AICS, ENCS, IECSC, NECI, KECI, NZloC, PICCS and TSCA. Complies with ecolabels including European Ecoflower (2008/4453/EC & 2008/4452/EC), German Blue Angel (RAL UZ 102:2010), Scandinavian Nordic Swan (2.3 2008) and French NF Environment (NF130:2012).
