Dispersogen® 1728 by Clariant is a low VOC (less than 1%) aqueous solution of a novolac derivative. Acts as an anionic stand-alone dispersing agent. Exhibits high pigment concentration, low viscosity, high stability and low foaming. It is a water soluble yellowish viscous or pasty liquid. Suitable for inorganic pigments, carbon black and for organic pigments. Dispersogen® 1728 is used water-based and solvent-based pigment preparations, disperse dyes, architectural low emulsion wall paints, in-plant tinters and printing inks. General recommendation of dosage of this label-free grade ranges between 3% and 18% on inorganic pigments and fillers and 12% & 50% on organic pigments. Complies with REACH, DSL, AICS, IECSC, NECI, KECI, NZloC, PICCS and TSCA.
