BRUGGOLITE® L40

BRUGGOLITE L40 by Brüggemann is a reducing agent in initiator systems for the main or post polymerization of various emulsion polymers. It is a stabilized, aqueous solution of sodium hydroxymethanesulfinate. Depending on the redox system these reactions can be performed under acidic, neutral, or alkaline pH conditions. It is ready for processing and offers high quality, optimization of handling and low impurities. It is recommended for water-based polymerization and textile industrial applications such as discharge printing. The reactivity of BRUGGOLITE L40 is higher under acidic conditions. The dosage level of the grade is 0.05-0.2% on total formulation for post polymerization. The shelf life of the product is 12 months when stored at 25°C.
