BRUGGOLITE® E28

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Brüggemann
BRUGGOLITE® E28 by Brüggemann is a sodium salt of an organic sulfinic acid derivative. It functions as a reducing agent for emulsion polymerization. Can be used in redox systems in combination with all commonly used oxidizing agents. Shows increased suitability for emulsion polymerization systems that are reacted below a pH value of 4. BRUGGOLITE® E28 is typically applied as a water-based solution at a concentration of 3-5%. Exhibits efficient decrease of free monomer content and better filtration of emulsion polymers. Complies with FDA §175.300 and FDA §175.320 for resinous and polymeric coatings for polyolefin films. It has a shelf life of 24 months when stored dry at 25°C. BRUGGOLITE® E28 is recommended at a dosage level of 0.05-0.2% active content on total formulation for post polymerization.
