Afcona -5220

Afcona -5220 by Afcona Additives is an anionic wetting and dispersing additive for inorganic pigments, mainly for TiO₂ and extenders. It offers decreased dispersing time and good viscosity reduction to allow higher filler loading in high extender loaded systems, like UPE in artificial marble. It also provides highest gloss performance in electrostatic spraying system for pure white paints. It is compatible with epoxy and polyurethane resins. Afcona -5220 is suitable for automotive (OEM and refinish), general industrial and coil coatings. The recommended dosage level for TiO₂/extenders is 1.0-4.0% and for other inorganic pigments is 3.0-10.0%. The shelf life of the product is 5 years.
