Afcona -4060

Afcona -4060 by Afcona Additives is a high molecular weight polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of all pigments. It is a modified polyurethane polymer for stabilizing inorganic, organic and carbon black pigments. It has fairly stable performance, through effective steric hindrance. It shows lower mill base viscosity, higher color strength, and reduced flooding and floating. Afcona -4060 is used for baking paints and coil coatings. It can be diluted in butylacetate/methoxy propyl acetate/sec-butanol spirit. Recommended dosage level for TiO2 is 2-3%, other inorganic pigments is 2-4%, organic pigments is 20-40% and carbon black is 20-60%. The shelf life is 5 years.
