Afcona -4565

Afcona -4565 by Afcona Additives is a modified polyacrylate dispersing agent for water-based applications. It has high molecular weight and is pH-independent. It offers very good stability to pigments, through effective steric hindrance and electric repulsion. It provides better gloss, color strength, flocculation stability and anti-flooding behavior. Afcona -4565 is suitable for manufacturing resin-free pigment concentrates and for deflocculation of pigments in decorative as well as industrial paints. When used in combination with Afcona -6225, better cost saving is achieved without influencing dispersion quality. The recommended dosage level for TiO₂ is 2-3%, inorganic pigments is 2-4%, organic pigments is 20-40% and for carbon black is 20-60%. The shelf life of the grade is 3 years.
